STEARNS RECEIVES THE "GUARDIAN OF SMALL BUSINESS" AWARD FROM THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT BUSINESS

HONORED FOR HIS STRONG RECORD OF SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth) was presented the Guardian of Small Business Award by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). The statement from the NFIB recognized Stearns’ work for small business, “In the 111th Congress, Cliff Stearns proved that he is a champion of small business.  The Guardian of Small Business Award is a token of the deep appreciation that small business owners have for elected officials who promote and protect their right to own, operate and grow their businesses.” 

“As a former small business owner, I know the unique challenges these enterprises face,” said Stearns.  “Small businesses are the number one source of jobs in our nation, and their vitality is essential to promoting economic growth.”
