STEARNS RECOGNIZED FOR HIS STRONG SUPPORT ON AGRICULTURAL ISSUES

The American Farm Bureau Federation presented Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth) its “Friend of Farm Bureau” Award.  According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, this award is given to individuals who have supported Farm Bureau issues, as shown by their voting record, and who were nominated by their respective state Farm Bureau.

“I am honored that the Florida Farm Bureau nominated me for this award for my commitment to rural America and to the priorities of those in the agricultural sector,” said Stearns.  “America’s agriculture not only feeds our nation, but much of the world as well.  I am committed to working to improve the quality of life and economic future for our rural communities.”
