NAS JAX SELECTED TO RECEIVE COMMANDER IN CHIEF’S ANNUAL AWARD FOR INSTALLATION EXCELLENCE

WASHINGTON, APRIL 27, 2012 – Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) congratulates the hardworking men and women at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on the installation’s selection to receive the 2012 Commander in Chief’s Annual Award for Installation Excellence.  “After undergoing a rigorous competition, the President recognizes the premier installation for each Military Service and the Defense Logistics Agency with this annual award,” said Stearns.  “Naval Air Station Jacksonville is one of only five recipients of this award for excellence and we are all very proud of this outstanding service to our nation.”
