GETS GIFT BASKET OF CHOCOLATES MADE BY COLE’S OWN CHICKASAW NATION IN OKLAHOMA

Washington, Jan 15, 2009 - “My colleague Rep. Tom Cole has every reason to be proud of his Oklahoma Sooners,” said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala), “and I thank him for these wonderful chocolates. The Florida Gators had a wonderful season capped by the BCS Championship, and I am honored to represent the University of Florida in Congress. It gives me the opportunity to point out the excellence of its academic, athletic, and research programs.”

Today, Rep. Cole went to Stearns’ Washington Office to present him with the gift basket of chocolates from Bedre, a Chickasaw owned company. Stearns had wagered a case of Florida oranges on the outcome of the BCS Championship. Cole represents the Second District of Oklahoma, where the University of Oklahoma is located.
