“I look forward to welcoming our Governor again to our delegation meeting and discussing our priorities for Florida,” said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth).  “There are many challenges facing our state and we need to work together on behalf of the people of Florida both here in Washington, D.C. and in Tallahassee.”

After attending the Florida delegation meeting, Governor Scott will testify at a hearing held by the Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade on the growing danger of prescription drug diversion.  Stearns also serves on the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade.  “Added Stearns, “I look forward to the Governor’s testimony on drug diversion and its threat to public safety.”
