STEARNS APPLAUDS EMERGENCY ONE DECISION TO STAY IN OCALA

STEARNS WORKED WITH CITY, COUNTY & STATE OFFICIALS TO KEEP FIRETRUCK MANUFACTURER IN OCALA

 
 

Washington, Apr 25, 2007 - "This is great news that Emergency One has decided to remain in Ocala, preserving some 1,300 jobs in our community," said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala).  Stearns worked with city, county, and state officials to retain Emergency One and enlisted the support of then-Governor Bush and Governor Crist.  "I want to thank everyone who worked to get this positive outcome, especially the Ocala/Marion County Economic Development Corporation," added Stearns.  "Marion County continues to be a great place to do business and to raise a family."
