STEARNS ANNOUNCES NINE AREA STUDENTS ACCEPTED BY U.S. MILITARY ACADEMIES

"One of my greatest responsibilities is nominating young men and women to the United States Military Academies," said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala).  "The competition for these appointments is extremely high, as are the quality of the nominees."  Stearns announced today the nine students from Florida's Sixth Congressional District who have been accepted to one of the U.S. Military Academies.

Five students are entering the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD; three are entering the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO; and one the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
