The Arboretum grounds are open every day of the year except December 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. The Visitor Center is open daily (except for the holidays listed below) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from November 1 to the end of February. From March 1 to October 31, the Visitor Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends. The National Bonsai & Penjing Museum is open daily (except for the holidays listed below) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so plan to visit this collection first if you visit late in the day. The Arbor House Gift Shop is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from March 1 through mid-December, and until 5:00 p.m. on weekends, April through September.
