Applications for nominations from Congressman Ted Poe for the classes entering the Academies in the Summer of 2013  can no longer be accepted.  The deadline for having a completed file submitted for consideration for a nomination was October 15, 2012.  No late applications will be accepted. 

The nomination application cycle for classes entering the Academies in the Summer of 2014 will open in the Spring of 2013.  Please check back at this website for the criteria and application.

Reminder:  Effective January 5, 2013, Congressional District 2 lines will change.  As of that date you must be a resident of the new district. Please refer to the District section of this website:  http://poe.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&;view=article&id=8727&Itemid=196

 U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Daniel Shellhouse receives his Cadet 4th Class shoulder boards from unnamed upperclass cadets following the Acceptance Day parade. Acceptance marks the Class of 2016's transition out of Basic Cadet Training and into the Cadet Wing.
