LANCE TO HOLD TOWN HALL MEETING IN BRANCHBURG ON MONDAY, MAY 16

WESTFIELD, NJ — Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-7) today announced he will hold a town hall meeting on Monday, May 16 in Branchburg.

The meeting is part of a series of town hall meetings that the Seventh Congressional District lawmaker regularly holds to listen to constituents.  This year, Lance has held nine town hall meetings in the towns of Bedminster, Bound Brook, Cranford, Edison, Hillsborough, New Providence, Readington, Scotch Plains and Warren.

During the town hall meeting Congressman Lance will discuss the important issues facing Congress and the American people.  Lance will take questions and share his views on the issues like the economy, health care, federal spending and the rising federal debt.

Additionally, members of Lance’s staff will be available to assist residents who are experiencing difficulties with federal agencies, such as the IRS, Social Security Administration, Veterans’ Affairs, the State Department or any other federal agency.

WHEN:  Monday, May 16, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

WHERE: Branchburg Municipal Building – Council Chambers,  1077 Route 202 North
