LANCE MEETS WITH SOMERSET COUNTY STUDENTS ON CAPITOL HILL

WASHINGTON – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today met with two students from Somerset County who were in Washington to participate in a national youth leadership conference. During the meeting, Lance talked with the students about his job as a lawmaker and answered their questions.

Specifically, Lance met with Rahul Kanojia, 16, of Bridgewater and John Patterson, 16, of Bound Brook. Patterson, a Senior at Bound Brook High School, is the son of John and Shelia Patterson. Kanojia, a Junior at Bridgewater High School, is the son of Pradeep and Lata Kanojia.

Both students were in Washington to participate in the National Youth Leadership Council, which teaches young people about government.

When in Washington, Lance regularly meets with constituents from the Seventh Congressional District in his Capitol Hill Office. When in New Jersey, Lance regularly holds meetings with constituents in his Westfield and Flemington congressional offices.
