WASHINGTON - Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today delivered a brief congressional update to more than 100 area seniors at the Bridgewater Senior Center.  During the event, Lance also answered questions regarding the new health care law and the impact of annual cost of living increases on seniors. 

Afterwards the Seventh District lawmaker and his staff held a mobile office to assist areas residents at the Senior Center.

“One of the most important parts of my job as a lawmaker is to listen to area residents and hear their concerns regarding issues pending before Congress,” said Lance.   “We had a great discussion today about the economy, taxes and the rising costs of health care and how these issues impact New Jersey's seniors.”

Lance and his staff regularly hold mobile office hours throughout the Seventh Congressional District in an effort to bring the services of his congressional office directly to Somerset County residents.
