WASHINGTON – Rep. Leonard Lance (NJ-07) on March 4 met with letter carriers from Scotch Plains in his Capitol Hill office. Letter Carriers from throughout New Jersey were in Washington this week for their annual visits to Capitol Hill to discuss issues of concern to their membership. Specifically, they discussed The Social Security Fairness Act, which would repeal two tax provisions that severely reduce the Social Security benefits and survivor benefits of federal retirees. Lance is a cosponsor of the legislation.
