WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) met with more than 70 students from Mountainside’s Deerfield School 8th grade class.  
 
Lance met with the students on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building, discussed his job as a lawmaker and then answered questions from the students.
 
Specifically, the Mountainside students were in Washington to learn about government and tour many historical attractions in the Nation’s capital.  Deerfield principal, Bob Phillips, helped organize the trip.
