WASHINGTON –Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced that Drew Blazure of Clinton has completed a summer internship in his Capitol Hill Office. Blazure, 21, is currently a senior at High Point University in North Carolina.

“Drew is a very bright, young person and I am proud of the hard-work and professionalism he contributed to the congressional office,” Lance said.  “Internships are a great way for students to learn more about how government works and serve the people of their community through public service.”

Interns in Lance’s congressional office perform a variety of duties, including greeting office visitors, facilitating tours of the U.S. Capitol for visiting residents and helping staff with legislative research projects as well as constituent correspondence.
 
“I’ve learned a great deal about Congress and would not trade this experience for anything,” Blazure said.  “I am very grateful for the opportunity to help Congressman Lance serve his constituency and I am very appreciative of all that I have learned while on Capitol Hill.”

Blazure is the son of Scott and Gail Blazure of Clinton.  He is a 2007 graduate of Voorhees High School.
