Rep. McCarthy recently visited West Hempstead High School to speak to the seniors in the Government and Economics classes. She addressed questions regarding what it is like to be a Member of Congress and what issues the Congress will look to address in the upcoming months. Congresswoman McCarthy recently visited the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County where she spoke to more then 300 students about government, the legislative process and how she became a Member of Congress. After addressing the students, the Congresswoman met with members of the school newspaper to answer a few more questions
