CONGRESSWOMAN JOHNSON WELCOMES THE RELEASE OF $1 MILLION FOR THE I-30 BRIDGE

Dallas, TX — (Monday, August 16, 2010) – Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson announced today that the $1 million she secured in funding last year in the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act for Fiscal year 2010 has been released.
The $1 million will be used towards reconstruction of the I-30 Bridge over the Trinity River.

“Completion of the Margaret McDermott Bridge is one of my top transportation priorities,” said Congresswoman Johnson. “I am pleased that the funds were released and will continue to do all I can to secure federal funds for the improvement of this vital transportation corridor.”
