Washington, DC – (Thursday, December 1, 2011)– Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson released the following statement today in recognition of World AIDS Day 2012:
“Today is an important day to unite against the fight against HIV/AIDS and to work towards an AIDS free nation. It is estimated that 33 million people globally are currently living with HIV. Take a moment to recognize World AIDS Day by taking charge of your health and protect yourself.”
