CONGRESSWOMAN EDDIE BERNICE JOHNSON STATEMENT ON HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
09/16/09Washington, DC – Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson released the following statement on Hispanic Heritage Month, which began September 15 and runs through October 15 each year:
“During Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor the Hispanic community and the contributions Latinos have made to the 30th District of Texas and nationwide. Hispanic values – faith, family, love of country – are American values. The Hispanic dream – the hope of a better, more prosperous future – is the American dream.”
