As we gather with family and friends to celebrate this Thanksgiving, let us take a moment to recognize the individuals who give us so much to be thankful for, including our families, loved ones, local first responders in our police and fire departments, and the brave soldiers that put their lives on the line to keep our great nation safe. In the wake of one of the worst national disasters to hit our state, I ask you all to pause this Thanksgiving and keep the many victims of Hurricane Sandy in our thoughts and prayers and find strength in the resiliency that serves as the foundation of the Garden State.
