Old City in Jerusalem
Rep. Hayworth and fellow travelers toured the Old City in Jerusalem to learn about the excavations of the ancient City of David. During the tour, they were led through a 3,000-year-old narrow tunnel between the city and the ancient Temple. The tunnel emerged next to the Western Wall, at ground level, to walk on the very same pavingstones that Jesus trod upon his entry in Jerusalem a thousand years later.
