“In recent months we have built the infrastructure to make Buffalo’s waterfront an attractive destination. The foundation we’ve laid is getting the attention of the general public and private sector developers, including two solid proposals for the Webster Block. Progress must continue to be made at the waterfront.
“The Mayor has made his decision and today we add to the building blocks creating our waterfront future. This is an exciting day because it moves us from talking about who is going to develop to seeing actual development get done. Mr. Pegula and the Sabres organization have been great and gracious waterfront neighbors. This move expands and strengthens their footprint bringing new and exciting publicly friendly development to the intersection of Buffalo’s Downtown and waterfront districts.”
