“Just one week ago we called on the NFTA to move swiftly on a plan to remove itself from the waterfront business. Today the Authority’s Property Risk Management Committee unanimously supported plans to proceed with actions to relinquish its Outer Harbor property.
“I applaud the NFTA for today’s action which adds new momentum to the redevelopment of Western New York’s waterfront. I look forward to working with them and others as we move forward with the transfer and work toward significant, tangible improvements for the public to enjoy by next season.”
