WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Representative Judy Biggert (R-IL-13) is collecting input from thousands of Americans on her proposal to boost small business growth through the popular website AmericaSpeakingOut.com.  House Republicans created the website to facilitate an open political dialogue, and give Americans an easy tool to speak out and help shape a new agenda for Washington.  On the site, Biggert recently posted her suggestion for promoting job creation by giving small businesses the relief and stability they need to invest and grow.  The Small Business Assistance and Relief Act, which Biggert helped author along with sponsor Michael Castle (R-DE), would extend keytax relief measures, reduce unnecessary paperwork and other mandates, and boost small business lending programs to expand credit.  Biggert also created a new YouTube video, which will appear on AmericaSpeakingOut.com, in which she encourages viewers to show their support for her idea by voting online.
