Washington, D.C. – Representative Reid Ribble (WI-8) today announced that his legislation, H.R. 2898, The Regulation Moratorium and Jobs Preservation Act of 2011, will be included in a newly unveiled Republican Jobs Package. Congressman Ribble’s legislation will prohibit any agency from initiating new significant regulatory rules until the unemployment rate falls below 7.8 percent.

Ribble attended a press conference today to highlight the negative impact federal regulations have on business and to discuss the regulatory reform proposals that are part of this job-creation package.
