Ribble Votes to Repeal President's Health Care Law

Jul 11, 2012 Issues: Health Care

Washington, D.C. – Representative Reid Ribble (WI-08) released the following statement after the bipartisan House vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

“I voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act today because instead of fixing the systematic flaws in our country’s healthcare system it makes it even more costly and dysfunctional. Even though the Supreme Court upheld the law’s constitutionality and the Senate will likely ignore this action, just like the more than 30 House-passed bipartisan jobs bills, it doesn’t mean that the Affordable Care Act is good policy. The American people will make their decision at the polls this November, but until then I will continue to work on ways to fix this flawed law so that everyone can truly have access to quality care at an affordable price.”
