John Culberson – U.S. House of Representatives

On this Memorial Day, we remember every man and woman who has laid down their life in service to our country.  Since the Revolutionary War, our soldiers have stood as the guardians of freedom and protectors of the values we hold dear. These men and women set aside ordinary lives to serve under extraordinary circumstances with honor, dignity, and courage.  They did so with a willingness to make the ultimate sacrifice, and for that we owe them our ultimate respect.  My prayers go out to all families who have lost a loved one in our nation’s service, and especially to those who have been bereaved in recent years.  May God bless these men and women, and may we never forget their sacrifices for the cause of freedom.
