This morning, my wife Carolina and I made breakfast for two of our four grandchildren, kissed them goodbye and told them to have a nice day at school.
At roughly the same time, an unspeakable horror was unfolding in an elementary school in Connecticut. As parents and grandparents we pray for all the families that have been affected by this tragedy. We also pray for the families and people of Newtown and the state of Connecticut.
There is of course, no plausible way to explain this horrible tragedy as all information is not available yet. In the meantime, we join in praying for the victims, families and all those impacted and affected.
