Today I surveyed NYC small businesses affected by Sandy with U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator Karen Mills, Borough President Scott M. Stringer, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Assemblywoman Deborah Glick, State Senator Daniel Squadron, and CB 1 Chair Catherine McVay Hughes. We showed Administrator Mills the widespread damage to local businesses and discussed the importance of maximizing federal assistance to those who are struggling.
