Louisville Native Luke Moses Named Congressman John Barrow's Legislative Assistant PDF Print

Washington, DC - Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) announced today that Louisville native Luke Moses will serve as his Legislative Assistant for the 111th Congress.  Moses will handle a broad range of legislative issues, including agriculture, homeland security, and veterans affairs.

"I'm proud to announce that Luke will be serving in my office as a legislative assistant," Barrow said.  "Luke has served the people of the 12th District now for three years in my office, both as an intern and as a staff assistant.  He's hard-working, thoughtful, and knows firsthand the issues that affect folks in Jeffersdsc_0341.jpgon County."

Luke served as an intern for Congressman Barrow from 2005 to 2006 and spent the past year serving as the staff assistant and legislative correspondent in Barrow's office.

"I've been fortunate enough to work for Mr. Barrow since he first came to Congress in 2005," Moses said.  "It's an honor to be able to work for my hometown Congressman on the issues that affect Jefferson County in the 111th Congress."

Luke was born and raised in Louisville, Georgia, where he attended Jefferson County High School.  Luke's father, Mickey, is an attorney in Louisville, and his mother, Cyndi, is a physical therapist in Sandersville.  Luke graduated in 2007 from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and grew up attending St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Louisville.
