In this clip, State Rep. Brandon Dillon (D-Grand Rapids) explains his opposition to House Bill 4054, a proposal to make Michigan a "right-to-work" state. The proposal was pushed through the House in one day without a single committee hearing and without taking a single word of testimony.

Daaaaayum..... Well done. That guy just earned every vote he ever got and every dollar he's been paid. *THAT* is what representation looks like.

Nads of stone on that one....

Mr. Dillon, you should be Governor. Maybe work with Verge and run with him. You have a great voice, and it should be heard from the rooftops.

Right b/c all those things that were established decades ago will suddenly go away like in all the other RTW states. Oh wait thats not true. Just b/c people did the right thing establishing those laws long ago u think people should have to keep paying for it forever.

Unions are supposed to represent the workers. You think every single worker is a democrat. Of course not, so if some of the repub workers have a problem with them donating to dems 100% of the time, tough shit you gotta join by law.

Careful about generalizations. This guy, Brandon Dillion, is defending the working class and he's a Republican. radical right or Right Wing Extremist are the ones to be careful of.

Give it a rest, Jam. Unions have bankrupted the country. Be proud.

YEAH! I mean, those awful unions! Who needs better working conditions, end of child labour, a minimum wage, paid maternity, regulated working hours, the right to collectively bargain. People should be happy with stagnating wages for them whilst the top few % see huge increases in theirs. DAMN COMMIES!
