I want to bring to your attention programs serving the veterans of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn (“OEF/OIF/OND”) at the Miami VA Healthcare System.  The OEF/OIF/OND direct care management team is specifically assigned to OEF/OIF/OND combat Veterans.

The OEF/OIF/OND direct care management team works closely with other health care professionals within the VA Medical Center and their outpatient clinics to address the medical, physical, psychological and social issues that are unique to Iraq, Afghanistan and GWOT Veteran populations.  The OEF/OIF/OND direct care management team works with several different Veterans Service Organizations that are eager to assist newly returning Veterans.
