In his 25th speech, Udall focused on the economic impacts of wind energy production in Iowa - whose wind resources could provide 44 times the state's electricity needs and power over 1 million homes. He was joined by his colleague Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). Udall will continue to urge his Senate colleagues to pass the wind Production Tax Credit.

The senators were joined by Reps. Jerry McNerney (D-Calif.) and Steve King (R-Iowa), as well as 40 veterans, many of whom have found post-military careers in the wind energy industry.
