WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Ander Crenshaw, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, and Jerry Hall, Executive Board Member of the Florida Alliance of Home Care Services and Founder of Hall-Moore Medical Supplies, Inc. in Jacksonville, will hold a Friday, July 27 press availability at 11:15 a.m. at the offices of Hall-Moore Medical Supplies at 6539 Powers Ave, Suite 2, Jacksonville. They will review findings of a round-table attended by Jacksonville-area medical equipment providers held to discuss the impact of competitive bidding, market pricing, and ObamaCare on the industry.

“The Jacksonville-area medical supply industry is a key player in the local economy providing hundreds of jobs across the region. But, potential federal regulations governing how these firms bid Medicare contracts loom on the horizon and may severely hurt these companies,” said Crenshaw. “That’s why I’m hosting a round-table conversation with folks who are ‘on the ground’ on the First Coast. I want to hear directly from them and take their findings back to the debate on Capitol Hill. We’ll be talking with a dozen local representatives and will report what we’ve learned from the round-table during the press availability.”
