Government Confirms Hochul's Criticism Of Temporary Farm Worker Program

Today, Representative Kathy Hochul (NY-26) said the recently released findings by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) confirm her criticism of the H-2A farm guest worker program. In 2011, 37 percent of H-2A visa applications were processed after the deadline, including 7 percent that were approved less than 15 days before workers were needed.
