Gardner receives subcommittee assignments of 113th Congress

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congressman Cory Gardner (R-CO) received his subcommittee assignments for the 113th Congress this afternoon.  He will remain on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and serve on the following Subcommittees:

-  Subcommittee on Communications and Technology

-  Subcommittee on Energy and Power

-  Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations

“These committee assignments give me a great opportunity to represent the people of Colorado and the 4th Congressional District by pushing back on job-killing regulations, expanding domestic energy production, and working towards policies that promote job creation,” Gardner said.

Gardner’s subcommittees have jurisdiction over wide ranging issues, such as national energy policy, telecommunications, and oversight of agencies, departments and programs within the jurisdiction of the committee - all major components of his District's economy.

Congressman Gardner is a freshman member in the U.S. House of Representatives for Colorado's 4th Congressional District. He serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and is a member of the Subcommittee on Energy and Power, the Subcommittee on Environment and Economy and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
