Washington, D.C.--“I express my full support for President Obama’s decision not to participate in the Durban II Conference in Geneva. The last conference completely devolved into a session filled with anti-Semitic rhetoric, and I believe this one will be more of the same. It is a shame that a conference designed to address racism in the world turns around and adopts some of the angriest, most hateful speech against Jews and Israel. Perhaps one day the nations of the world will be able to accomplish something as noble and vital as fighting racism without picking the Jewish people as a target for attacks.”
