SOCIAL SECURITY HELP COMES TO REP. ENGEL'S OFFICE

Washington, DC--Representatives of the Social Security Administration will be at Congressman Eliot Engel’s Bronx office on Wednesday, May 26th to help people with questions and/or issues concerning Social Security.

The service, at the Congressman’s 3655 Johnson Avenue office, is available only by an appointment, which may be made by calling Richard Fedderman, Rep. Engel’s Director of Constituent Services, at 718 796-9700.

Rep. Engel said, “This ongoing program brings Social Security help to people in their neighborhood. Social Security representatives have been coming to my office for several years and have helped hundreds of people.”

The Congressman also directed people to the Social Security website (www.ssa.gov) which offers a wide array of on-line services including filing for retirement, survivors and disability benefits, change of address, replacing lost Medicare cards, or keeping up to date on Social Security matters.
