Washington, DC -- Congressman Eliot Engel (D-NY-17) met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the State Department on Wednesday and addressed several areas of concern in the Western Hemisphere, the Middle East and in the Balkans.  Rep. Engel is the Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere.  He was joined by the Chairman, Rep. Connie Mack (R-FL).

“It is always an honor to meeting with Secretary Clinton, with whom I had the pleasure to serve the people of New York while she was our senator.  We addressed several important issues facing the Western Hemisphere, the Middle East and the Balkans.  She has always been a great partner over the years, and I look forward to working closely with her on the issues facing our country,” said Rep.
