ENGEL CONGRATULATES BRONX SCIENCE; NAMED A TOP 100 SCHOOL

Bronx, NY -- Congressman Eliot Engel congratulated theBronx High School of Science for being named one of the top 25 high schools in the northeast by Newsweek/Daily Beast in its annual survey of high schools across America.

“Bronx High School of Science has a long tradition of excellence,’ said Rep. Engel, “and this affirms their excellence and shows it is continuing.”

Newsweek/Daily Beast say their annual survey highlights the 1,000 public high school nationwide which are the most effective in graduating college-ready students.  Bronx Science came in 9th in the northeast, and 50th nationwide.
