CHAIRMAN SCHRADER TO HOLD SUBCOMMITTEE HEARING IN SALEM

Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-OR), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Finance and Tax, will hold an Oregon field hearing in Salem on August 4th. The hearing is entitled “Exploring Ways for Small Businesses to Access Capital” and will examine the current credit conditions for Oregon small businesses.  Witnesses will offer testimony on expanding access to capital for entrepreneurs and spurring economic growth. The hearing will take place Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. at Courthouse Square, Senate Hearing Room, 555 Court Street N.E., Salem, Oregon. Members of the press are encouraged to attend and the Congressman will be available for interviews.
