As a member of the Transportation Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials, this morning I joined Rep. Andrews and Rep. LoBiondo at the site of the recent train derailment in Paulsboro, New Jersey. After our briefing, we updated the media on the latest with the cleanup and NTSB investigation. Once the investigation is complete both regulators and policymakers in Congress need to examine these issues.
