Release: New Interactive Map Details Funding for 11th CD Projects and Programs

Since January, Congressman Connolly has worked to bring hundreds of millions of dollars in needed funding  to Fairfax County, Prince William County, and the City of Fairfax in the 11th Congressional District of Virginia through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, appropriations bills, and other legislation.  A map detailing projects and programs in the 11th Congressional District that have received or will receive federal funding from the 111th Congress can be found by clicking here.

 The funds for the 11th District include: more than $170 million for education and schools; more than $180 million for roads, rail, and other transportation improvements; more than $15 million for housing programs; more than $2 million for public safety; $12.8 for energy efficiency and conservation programs; $1.75 million for health and human services; and other funding for VRE locomotives, buses, dam rehabilitation to prevent flooding, workforce training, and other infrastructure improvements.

Additional funds for projects and programs in the 11th Congressional District continue to be approved under the Economic Recovery Act and the various appropriations bills, and other measures currently moving through Congress.
