NoVA Cooling Center and Power Update

 

Many Northern Virginia residents still remain without power.  Dominion and NOVEC have crews working to restore power to those that are affected.  To report an outage call:

In response to the record heat Northern Virginia is experiencing, local governments are offering emergency relief services and cooling centers.  We ask that you check on senior citizens who may be without power. To find a local cooling center please visit:

Fairfax City: Old Town Hall, 3999 University Drive from 10 am to 8 pm.

Prince William County: ? Cooling centers will open from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Bull Run Middle School (6308 Catharpin Rd., Gainesville, VA) and the gymnasium at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building (15941 Donald Curtis Dr., Woodbridge, VA).

Fairfax County: Please visit http://fairfaxcountyemergency.wordpress.com/ for emergency services and cooling center locations.  Residents who need urgent human services assistance should call 703-222-0880 or call 9-1-1.
