Rep. Gerry Connolly (D—VA-11) paid a visit to the Arc of Greater Prince William and INSIGHT on Thursday, a Dale City-based non-profit that serves disabled people in Prince William County. Connolly praised the group's work and criticized the budget cuts recently passed by the Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, saying they hurt groups like AGPW that are making a difference in individual lives.
"As we are trying to trim government spending, we can't lose sight of the fact that there are human investments," Connolly said. "Without Arc, these people would have no place to go."
