New Democrat Coalition: Republican Budget is NOT the Answer

Washington, D.C. – Today, leaders of the New Democrat Coalition, chaired by Rep. Joseph Crowley (NY-7), released the following statement as the House of Representatives begins debate on the Republican budget for fiscal year 2013: 

            “The Republican budget is not the answer.  Instead of a balanced approach, House Republicans would rather shift our nation’s financial difficulties to states, seniors and middle class Americans.  We are dedicated to finding a long-term solution with shared responsibility among all Americans, and this budget is wide of the mark.”
