REP. FUDGE STATEMENT ON THE DEFEAT OF ISSUE TWO

WARRESNVILLE HEIGHTS, OH- Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released the following statement this evening regarding the vote on State Issue 2, a referendm on the Ohio law known as S.B.5:
"Let the nation take notice of the resounding defeat of Issue 2. The people of Ohio said no to the attempt by Governor Kasich and state legislators to rob them of their voice and deprive our police, firefighters, nurses, teachers and other public employees of their right to collective bargaining. Let this message be heard loud and clear across the country that rolling back the hard won rights of our workers and the middle class will not move our nation forward."
