2012 Congressional Art Competition Open to Entries from High School Students
Congressman Dicks is pleased to announce his office’s participation in the Congressional Art Competition, “An Artistic Discovery,” which allows high school students from across the United States to showcase their artistic ability. Each year Members of Congress hold contests within their districts to choose winning pieces of art by high school students. The winning student from each district is invited to Washington, DC for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and will have his or her artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. Entries must be received by 4:30 PM, Friday, April 20th, 2012.
Please visit the High School Students page for further information regarding the competition, contest guidelines and a student release form.
