2013 Inauguration Ticket Requests

On January 21, 2013 President-elect Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term as President of the United States.

Congressional offices each receive a limited number of tickets for the swearing-in ceremony and I will do my best to ensure that constituents who request tickets receive them. Because of the limited number of tickets my office receives and the high level of demand, the maximum number of tickets per request is 4.

Each Congressional office receives a separate allotment of tickets so constituents are encouraged to request tickets from their representative as well.

Ticket Information
Regardless of age, each person attending requires their own ticket. Please keep in mind when requesting tickets that the ceremony is held outside and has historically been on some of the coldest days of the year.

Gates open at 9:00AM and no food, beverage, strollers, folding chairs, or the like will be permitted past security. Most tickets will be standing room only and at a distance from the podium.

Ticket requests will be accepted through our online form through Friday, December 14th. Due to high demand, we will not be able to accommodate every ticket request. We will notify ticket recipients by Friday, December 21st with additional information.

**Please note that Congressional Offices do not receive tickets to any inaugural events other than the swearing-in ceremony. All other events are handled by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
