Presidential Inauguration

57th Presidential Inauguration

Note: Fields marked with an * are required.

On January 21st, 2013, the 57th Presidential Inauguration will be held on the West Front of the United States Capitol. Members of the 113th Congress are responsible for the distribution of tickets for the Swearing-In ceremony. Currently, Senator Murray’s office is accepting requests for tickets to view the Inauguration, however, tickets are not required for the public viewing areas on the National Mall. The non-ticketed area of the National Mall begins at Fourth Street NW. All guests will be required to go through extensive security and a list of prohibited items will be made available prior to the event.

Due to the large crowds expected for the Inauguration, all guests receiving tickets are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they will be cleared into the ticketed areas on time for the ceremony. As the Inauguration takes place in January, the ceremony is historically a cold and wet event.  Crowds will be very large and guests should expect to be standing out in the cold for at least three hours.

If you would like to request tickets to the 57th Inaugural ceremonies, please fill out the form below with your name, address in Washington State, phone number (preferably a mobile number and/or the best number to reach you), email and the number of tickets you are requesting. If you are requesting tickets on behalf of an organization, please list the contact information for that organization as well. Please note that we are unable to guarantee ticket to the Ceremony and we do not know yet how many tickets we will have available for distribution. We expect to deliver tickets in January.
